Washing Your Makeup Brushes

Washing your makeup brushes is very important. Having all the build up of makeup is kinda gross and can lead to acne because of the bacteria. Having clean brushes can also lead to a better application of makeup. Listed below are two methods to clean your dirty makeup brushes.

To wash your brushes you need:

• Warm water
• Baby shampoo
• Clean towel
• Dirty brushes

Method #1: In the Sink

1. Get the brush wet.
2. Apply a dollop of the shampoo in your hand.
3. Swirl brush around in the shampoo that is in your hand.
4. Keep swirling brush around in hand but this time under the water.
5. Squeeze water gently out of brushes and place on a clean towel to dry.

Method #2: In A Cup

1. Add a squirt (about the size of a quarter) of shampoo in to a cup of lukewarm water.
2. Swirl the brush around in the water/shampoo concoction.
3. Rinse out brushes with lukewarm water.
4. Place on clean towel to dry.
